After a successful career as a collegiate and professional baseball player, Liam Shanahan immersed himself in the startup ecosystem and launched his first company, an OTT platform designed for fitness professionals, marking the beginning of more than fifteen years leading product, marketing, and growth initiatives across emerging technology companies.
Throughout his career, Liam has built and guided product and go-to-market teams, launched new ventures, and helped scale organizations through critical growth stages. He also founded an agency dedicated to demand generation for SaaS companies and became the first employee and Head of Product at Profund, which was acquired by Home Depot in 2024. His experience spans FinTech, SaaS, lending-adjacent solutions, streaming platforms, and social products, giving him a broad perspective on how technology businesses evolve and succeed.
Liam was drawn to Dualboot by its collaborative culture and the opportunity to apply his cross-functional experience to building meaningful, scalable products. He brings a practical approach to shaping product strategy, launching new offerings, and aligning go-to-market execution with long-term business value. Known as a versatile generalist, he excels at simplifying complex ideas, connecting teams around shared goals, and turning early-stage concepts into tangible outcomes.
Originally from Boston, Liam now lives in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his wife and two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys sports, music, food, and travel, and is especially passionate about connecting people and ideas that create new opportunities.
